In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through adding BookThatApp (BTA) booking forms to your Palo Alto Shopify theme. Before you start, we recommend you take a backup of your current theme.
⚠️ Note: If your theme has recently been updated, some steps may require adjustment. We recommend taking a backup of your theme before making changes 💾.
Note on Widgets vs Classic Forms
Widgets are the newest type of booking form and are highly recommended over classic booking forms.
Advantages of Widgets:
Available for all plans and subscriptions.
Require no coding changes.
Modern look that flows better with your theme.
More settings and greater app performance than classic forms.
Easily add multiple widget types for different booking scenarios.

Step 1 – Choose Your Booking Form
Log in to BookThatApp Admin.
In the left-hand navigation menu, select Install.
Click the Install button next to the form you want to add.
This creates abooking-formsnippet in your current theme.

Step 2 – Add the Booking Form to the Shopify Product Page
In Shopify Admin, open your current theme.
Navigate to
Sections > product-form.liquid.-
Paste the following code below the
</select>element (around line 93):{% include 'booking-form' %} Click Save.
Step 3 – Update the Cart Page
To make the Cart Quantity read-only:
Open
cart.liquid.Replace line 65 (highlighted in your editor) with the updated code from Step 3.
Once complete, the app should be successfully installed in the Palo Alto theme.
