📊 Your BookThatApp Dashboard Overview

The BookThatApp Dashboard is your central hub for tracking setup progress and monitoring booking activity. It provides onboarding guidance for new users and ongoing performance insights for established stores — all in one place.

🧩 Theme Embed Checker

This section helps you confirm whether the BookThatApp theme embed is enabled in your Shopify theme.

It checks your current embed status and displays it as one of the following:

→ Active — The theme embed is enabled and working
→ Inactive — The theme embed is not enabled
→ Legacy Version — An older embed version is currently in use

If the embed is not active, this section includes a button that takes you directly to Shopify so you can:

→ Enable the BookThatApp theme embed
→ Save your theme changes

This makes it easy to verify your setup and ensure the BTA widget can load correctly on your storefront.

New to BookThatApp? The Dashboard includes an interactive onboarding checklist to guide you through the key steps needed to integrate BTA with your Shopify store.

The onboarding checklist walks you through the core steps to get BookThatApp set up and ready for bookings.

1) 🧩 Enable the Theme Extension

Enable the BookThatApp theme embed in your Shopify theme and save.

2) 📦 Add Your First Booking Service

Create your first service (e.g. appointment, rental, class, or event) and configure its availability/settings.

3) 🗓️ Create Your First Booking Widget

Create a widget and connect it to your service so customers can book on your storefront.

4) 🎨 Style Your Widget

Customize the widget’s appearance to match your store’s design and branding.

🔄 Progress Tracking

The Dashboard updates your progress automatically and marks completed steps with a check icon.

📈 Daily Monitoring & Insights

Beyond setup, your Dashboard provides real-time visibility into your booking activity and performance trends, helping you stay on top of reservations and day-to-day operations.
 

📅 Schedule Overview

Your Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of this month’s booking activity and upcoming reservation events, so you can quickly understand how your schedule is performing.

Click the expand icon to open the Calendar Overview Page directly from your Dashboard for a more detailed view of your bookings.

📈 Bookings & Revenue

This section displays your booking performance and revenue trends for the selected date range, giving you a clear snapshot of business activity.

💰 What You’ll See

→ Total bookings — Number of reservations.
→ Revenue generated — Financial performance from bookings

🗓️ Flexible Date Range Filtering

You can now customize the data shown using built-in date filters:

→ Preset date range options for quick reporting views
→ Custom date range selector to choose your own start and end dates

All booking and revenue insights are now available directly on the Dashboard, there is no separate Analytics page.
