BookThatApp offers a Shopify POS integration for merchants taking bookings in-store as well as online. This integration brings the full functionality of BookThatApp into your POS channel, allowing you to take bookings, view your calendar, create blackouts, and view reservations.
Note: Please ensure your products are added to the POS sales channel in Shopify before proceeding.
Adding BTA to your POS Channel
To add BTA to the Shopify POS channel, please do the following:
1. Log into your Shopify POS
2. Select Add tile.
3. Select App.
4. Select BTA.
5. Select the "Add" option for the app extension App link:
The BTA integration for Shopify is now complete.
Creating a Booking via POS π
The POS solution makes it easy to create bookings directly from the POS cart:
- Select the BookThatApp tile you added to your POS app screen.
- Select Create Booking.
- Fill in the booking information and select Save. You will be redirected to the POS cart screen, where the booking will appear as a purchase item.
- Complete the order process as you normally would.
- Once the order is complete, an order will be created in Shopify and a booking will be created in the app.
Note: If you need to re-add a booking to the POS cart after removing it and the dates/times appear as unavailable for the new selection, use the "Allow all dates/times" checkbox to select the previously used dates.
What Else Can You Do with the BTA Point of Sale Integration?
The BTA POS integration serves as a full extension of the app. In addition to creating bookings, you can access different sections of the app to manage your BTA bookings directly via POS.
To navigate between pages, select the BTA dropdown list at the top of the screen while browsing the BTA tile. These are the same pages available in the standard version of the BTA app.
