Notifications Overview 📨🔔

There are several types of notifications available between the app and Shopify. This article will provide an overview of the different types of notifications that are available. 

Shopify Notifications

Shopify allows several notifications to be enabled in the Notifications section of the Shopify admin. The most important email to note:

• Order Confirmation: Sent to customers and includes order details.

BookThatApp Notifications

BTA provides multiple notification types. Access depends on your app subscription level.

Types of Notifications

1. New Booking Confirmation
   Sent to customers when a new booking is made.
2. Reminder
   Sent to customers as a reminder about their booking.
   • Lite and Standard subscribers: must send manually
   • Higher subscription levels: can schedule automatic sending
3. New Booking Notification
   Sent to the store owner when a new booking is made.
4. Enrollments
   Sent to the store owner and contacts listed in the product configuration page. Provides a report listing attendees of scheduled events (e.g., classes, tours, activities).
5. Custom Reminders
   Custom reminder emails that can be created and scheduled automatically. Available to Premium and higher plan subscribers only.
6. SMS Notifications
   Custom text messages that can be created and scheduled automatically. Available to Premium and higher plan subscribers only.

Notification Preferences

If you do not want to receive notifications at the Shopify store owner's email address, you can specify your notification preferences in BTA:
