Appointment Widget settings

Below is a breakdown of all settings available in the Appointment widget.

Note: The widget currently may open to the current month instead of the first available date for appointment products. This happens because it only searches within the current calendar year.

General

Name
Use this field to describe the purpose of the widget. You can create multiple Appointment widgets with unique settings.

Type (static)
Displays the widget type.

ID (static)
Shows the widget’s unique internal identifier.

Interface 🎨

Design Widget
Quickly open the app’s Branding Configuration section to customize the widget’s appearance.

Display Mode
Controls how the widget appears on the product page: Inline, Popup, or Button.

Booking Fields
Displays any additional booking fields you created in the Booking Fields section.

Swatches
Shows product variants as swatches instead of a dropdown.

Make Another Booking
Allows customers to quickly create an additional free-charge booking.
Only available when “Bypass Shopify checkout” is enabled and the service qualifies.

Remaining Places
Shows the number of remaining available spaces.
 

User Flow ➡️

Redirect
Choose what happens after the product is added to the cart: Cart Page, Checkout, or Continue Shopping.

Bypass Shopify Checkout
Skips the Shopify checkout process entirely.

Waitlist
Turns the waitlist feature on or off.
 

Time ⏰

Time Format
Choose between Casual (e.g., 2 PM) or 24-Hour (e.g., 14:00).

Time Slot Generation
Generate time slots based on the product’s duration or a custom interval.

Interval
Sets the time gap between slots (in minutes). The duration still defines the booking length.

Time Range
Displays time slots as a range (e.g., 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM).

Booked-Out Time Slots
Show or hide fully booked/unavailable times.

Show Remaining Places
Displays the number of available spaces.

Timezone Helper
Adds a timezone selector at the bottom of the widget.
 

Location 📍

Location Picker
Allows customers to choose from your configured locations.

Location Map
Shows location details on the booking confirmation step.
 

Pricing 💵

Price
Show or hide the price in the widget.

Price Format
Choose whether to display the abbreviated currency (e.g., USD) based on Shopify settings.

Choices

Resource
Lets customers choose a resource such as Staff, Room, or Equipment.

Quantity
Allows booking more than one space at a time.

Set Minimum Quantity
Enables you to define the minimum quantity required for a booking.
