What This Does π€
Problem: You rent equipment but you're closed weekends. Customers shouldn't pay for Saturday/Sunday. Solution: Count Days setting only charges for weekdays! π°
Before You Start β
Make sure you have:
- β Product allows start & end date selection
- β Rental widget shows date range picker
- β "Date range updates quantity" set to Yes (in Order Processing)

Real Example π‘
Your Scenario:
- You rent cameras/equipment π·
- Business closed weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Customer picks: Friday to Tuesday (5 calendar days)
- You want to charge: 3 days only (Fri, Mon, Tue)
Count Days setting makes this happen automatically! β‘
How to Set It Up π οΈ
- Go to Settings β Advanced Configuration β Advanced Settings
- Find "Count days" under the Datepicker section
- Choose your option:
π Calendar (Default)
- Counts ALL days in date range
- Includes weekends
- Friday to Tuesday = 5 days charged
πΌ Weekdays (Weekend-Free!)
- Skips Saturday & Sunday
- Customers can't select weekends as end dates
- Friday to Tuesday = 3 days charged (Fri, Mon, Tue)
- Save your changes β
What Customers See π
With "Weekdays" Setting:
- Date picker blocks weekend end dates π«
- Only weekdays count toward rental duration
- Price automatically calculates weekdays only π΅
- Clear pricing = happier customers! π

Test it out:
- Go to your product page
- Select a date range that includes a weekend
- Verify only weekdays are counted in the price
- Try selecting Saturday/Sunday as end date (should be blocked)
