📋 How to Enable BookThatApp Booking Widgets

This guide walks you through enabling the BookThatApp Booking Widgets app embed in your Shopify theme customization settings. Once you've configured your BTA widget, this final step makes it visible to customers on your storefront.

 

Note: This app embed toggle just makes widget rendering possible in your theme. By default, when enabled using inline or popup modes, he widget will show on the individual product pages. To actually place a widget on a specific page (that is not standard product page), you'll use an App Block — see [Shopify App Blocks for BookThatApp Widgets].

⚙️ Enabling the App Embed

After creating and configuring your BTA Widget, you must activate the BookThatApp Booking Widgets app embed option in your theme settings to display the widgets on your store.

📝 Step-by-Step Process:

Step 1: 🏪 Access Theme Management → Navigate to Shopify admin → Go to Sales Channels → Online Store → Themes

 

Step 2: 🎨 Select Your Active Theme → Locate your current theme in the theme library → Click Customize next to the appropriate theme

Step 3: 📍 Navigate to App Embeds → In the top left area of the Theme Customization interface → Click the App embeds button (it's the third option in the vertical navigation menu)

 

Step 4: ✅ Activate Booking Widgets → Find Booking Widgets in the app embed list → Toggle the switch to enable the app embed option

Step 5: 💾 Save Your Changes → Click the Save button to apply your theme customization changes → This finalizes the app embed activation
