Bulk Import Products

This article walks you through how to import your booking products (services) from Shopify into BookThatApp using the Bulk Import feature.

🔒 Note: You need to be on a paid plan to use the Bulk Import feature.

Step 1: Export Your Products from Shopify

1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Products.

2. Select the products you want to import into BookThatApp.

3. Click the “Export” button to download them as a CSV file.

Step 2: Open the Bulk Import Tool in BookThatApp

1. In your BookThatApp admin, go to Services → Bulk Import.

2. Click the "Create Product Import" button (top left of the page).

Step 3: Upload Your CSV File

1. Click "Choose File" and select the CSV file you exported from Shopify.
2. Choose a Template Product — this is an existing product in BTA whose booking settings will be copied to the products you're importing.

🛠️ This saves time by applying the same configuration to all imported products.

Step 4: Start the Import

• Click "Save" to begin importing your products.

• You’ll be redirected to the Product Import page, where you can see the import progress.

⏳ It may take a few moments depending on how many products you're importing.

Done! 🎉

Once the import is complete, your products will appear in BookThatApp with the booking settings copied from your template product. You're now ready to take bookings!
