Uploading a Waiver or Contract

Let customers complete and upload waivers directly when they book. Perfect for activities that need liability protection! 🛡️

Part 1: Upload Your Waiver to Shopify 📤

1️⃣ Go to File Storage

• Open your Shopify admin
• Click Settings → Files

2️⃣ Upload Your Waiver

• Click Upload files
• Select your waiver/contract (PDF works best)
• ⚠️ Must be under 20MB

3️⃣ Copy the Link 🔗

• Find your uploaded file
• Click the copy symbol (two squares icon)
• Save this link - you'll need it next!

4.   Click on Settings-> Customer Interaction -> Booking fields in the app admin.

5.  Add a File type booking field.

Part 2: Add Waiver Field to Booking Filed 📋

4️⃣ Create the Booking Field

• Go to Settings → Customer Interaction → Booking fields (in your BookThatApp)
• Add a File type booking field

5️⃣ Link Your Waiver 🔗

Add text with a link to your uploaded waiver:

Format: [Link text](your-waiver-url)

Example:

Complete and upload [Waiver](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0031/0882/files/Sample-Waiver.pdf)

6️⃣ Done! ✅

Customers can now click the waiver link, complete it, and upload it during booking.

Where to Find Uploaded Waivers 📁

Customer waiver uploads appear in:

• 📧 Shopify order (as a link)
• 📝 Booking details (under "Additional Information")
